These are the SMS Terms for the InTownPro text message program, run by InTownPro LLC of Yarmouth, Maine. They explain what we text, how you opt in and how to stop. Our general Terms and Conditions cover the rest of InTownPro.

SMS Terms

What we text

Texts are for your InTownPro account only: a one-time code to confirm your number, and the notifications you choose, such as new job requests, quotes, messages from homeowners or pros, friend and referral updates, and finished-job or review requests. We don't send marketing or promotional texts.

How you opt in

Texting is optional and never needed to use InTownPro. Signed in on www.intownpro.com, open Settings, then Notifications, add your mobile number and tick the box to agree to texts (it starts unticked, and Save stays off until you tick it). We text you a 6-digit code, and your number is saved only after you enter it. Then turn on, one by one, the notifications you want by text. All text switches start off.

Step 1: Settings > Notifications. The user types their own mobile number and must tick the unticked consent box before Save works.
Step 2: after Save, we text a 6-digit code. The number is saved only when the user enters it and taps Confirm.
Step 3: once confirmed, we send one welcome text. The user then turns on, one by one, the notifications they want by text.

How often, and what it costs

Message frequency varies with your activity and the notifications you turn on, and is capped at 50 texts a day to any one number. Message and data rates may apply. InTownPro LLC is not responsible for charges from your mobile carrier. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Stop or get help

  • Reply STOP to any text to stop all texts from InTownPro. We'll send one text confirming it, then no more. Reply START to get them again.
  • Reply HELP for help, or email support@intownpro.com.
  • You can also turn texts off, or remove your number, at any time in Settings.

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. Read our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information.
